North Forsyth Student Council Visits the Georgia State Capitol
for Leadership Summit
Each year, Student Council officers get the spectacular opportunity to visit the Georgia State Capitol for an annual Leadership Summit. Students from every corner of Georgia come together to share, explain, and create new ideas to help each other succeed in their school. The officers also listened to an inspirational speaker who discussed student leadership and the important role it plays in Georgia high schools. As they went to different workshops, the officers learned how to not let leadership go extinct. Not only was the Summit a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and become better leaders, it was also an opportunity to become closer as a student council. Each individual student left the capital as a better leader and a more well-rounded person.
